Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 1, 2026

1. Introduction

Sola Analytics LLC ("Sola," "we," "us," or "our") provides a financial reporting and budgeting software-as-a-service platform (the "Platform") and operates the website at solaanalytics.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Site and the Platform (together, the "Services"). This Policy is intended for the United States. Our Services are directed to businesses (primarily financial institutions) and their authorized users, and are not directed to consumers or children.

2. Our Two Roles

It is important to distinguish two categories of information:

  • Data we control. Limited information about visitors to our Site and about the individual users we authorize to access the Platform (for example, name and work email). We act as the controller of this information, and this Policy describes how we handle it.
  • Customer Data we process on our customers’ behalf. Financial and related data that our customers (for example, banks) load into or generate within the Platform. We process this Customer Data solely to provide the Services, under our agreement with the customer and that customer’s instructions. This Policy does not govern Customer Data; that data is subject to the applicable customer agreement and the customer’s own privacy notices. If you are an individual whose information is held in a customer’s account, please contact that customer.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information collected automatically (Site)

When you visit the Site, our servers automatically record standard log information, such as your IP address, browser type, referring pages, and the date and time of your request. We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Services to function (for example, to maintain an authenticated session). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3.2 Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.

3.3 Platform account information

For users we authorize to access the Platform, we process account identifiers (such as name and work email or username) and the activity and security logs necessary to operate, secure, and support the Platform. Accounts are provisioned by administrators; the Platform does not offer public self-registration.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we control to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
  • Authenticate users and administer accounts;
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support;
  • Monitor for, investigate, and prevent security incidents and misuse; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Services and as permitted by law:

  • Service providers and subprocessors. We use trusted providers (for example, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric) to host and operate the Services under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sola, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Sola is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

6. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, consistent with our internal information security program. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our data retention practices and applicable customer agreements.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information that we hold about you as a controller, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. To make a request, contact us at ataylor@solaanalytics.com. We will verify and respond to valid requests as required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If your information is held within a customer’s Platform account, please direct your request to that customer, who controls that data; we will support our customers in responding.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Users

The Services are operated in and intended for the United States, and information is processed in the United States.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
